What’s New In Jaco
The new and amazing, Teatro Jaco, is joined to the Oceans Center office building. Teatro Jaco will serve as a venue for live theater , concerts and special events for the community and visitors. Teatro Jaco was founded by Darren Lee Cole, co-owner of the SoHo Playhouse in NYC and producer of hundreds of theatrical productions worldwide. He is a joint partner with Patrick Hundley, President of DayStar Properties whose mission is to “Bring the world of entertainment to Playa Jacó” while inspiring local talent through funding arts programming and educational workshops for the Central Pacific region.
Teatro Jaco kicked off the holiday season with a ten day performance of a new musical production of Dicken’s, “A Christmas Carol” which starred a combination of a professional New York cast and local residents. The show was a huge success and very well received by the community and holiday visitors. Across the street from the Oceans Center is a newly opened cinema that plays current blockbuster movies in English with Spanish subtitles. Yet another new venue is Graffiti Restaurant located cattycorner to the Oceans Center that is a wine bar with arguably the best cuisine in Jaco Beach.

Market Update
As we head into prime tourism season here in Jaco Beach, we are noticing a positive increase in the amount of visitors that are interested in acquiring an oceanfront condominium here. Property showings are split evenly between North American prospects and local residents whom live in the San Jose area. This is an indication of a healthy buyer demographic, whereas sales success is not only dependent on one isolated purchaser demographic as it was in past years. With that said, that doesn’t supersede the fact that there is a good amount of product with very competitive list prices and motivated sellers. We anticipate many of the prospects that have viewed property in the past several months to return to us in the near future prepared to put down an offer on some of the hot deals out there in our condo communities.
New Construction Almost Complete
